Dog Food Choice

I know up until recently, it was only available in our state on the dog show
circuit. It is spreading across the state, though somewhat slowly, as it is made
in small lots and they want to keep it in specialty stores only, not places like
Petco and Petsmart. Wish you could find it there, I think your dogs would love
it. I know mine do.

Uhhh, you make it sound as though this were a high end food.  I was "involved" with this food and it is an inexpensive food targeted at feed stores and the like.  And there is absolutely no truth to the statement that any kibble co-packed is made in small batches.  Time is money.  Every second your kibble is run on the line is money.  NO FOOD COMPANY can afford to keep paying to run lines for their food.  The most economical thing to do is run as much kibble as you can while you are paying for the line.  Unless, of course, the food company does not have much capital and can only afford to run so much on a line.  Then you put a marketing spin on it.......
