Re: [Dog_Nutrition] OK- any links to research of what dogs REALLY need?

The health of a dog comes from more than what they are fed, although
that obviously plays a large role. Its genetics and environment too.
Exercise for example. Fresh air, fresh water.

Some animals seem able to eat anything their entire life, and live
long and healthy lives, dying at an advanced age.

Others are fed the best food for their needs, in the right amounts,
and get all manner of diseases.

A dog's life can also be cut short in other ways, of course, such as
being hit by a car, falling down a cliff, etc.
