Dog Food Choice

Hi, I am thinking about switching my 5 year old corgi to a nature's variety raw medalions and instinct canned. She is currently on regular innova kibble with canned evo. Vet thinks she may be allergic to barley and maybe chicken the regular innova has barley. It is hard to find a single protein source with innova brands so a friend recomended the narture's variety.They have a lamb and a venision that I would like to try. My corgi has bad inhalant allergies along with a low thyroid, so grain free may be a way to go to get that extra few pounds off her. Anyone here have any opinion on it or has anyone had their pets on the diet with good resluts?
